ISLA VISTA RUMMAGE SALE
UCSB Co-Sponsors Fall Rummage Sale in Isla Vista
The first annual GIVE fall rummage sale will be held on Sunday, November 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of UC Santa Barbara’s Embarcadero Hall, at 935 Embarcadero del Norte in Isla Vista.
Used clothing and shoes donated by UCSB students will be priced from 50 cents to $3. UCSB’s Housing & Residential Services has donated 400 twin-size blankets (80 percent wool/20 percent synthetic), which will be sold for $2 each, or three blankets for $5. Thirty student desks from the residence halls will be sold for $10 each.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit Isla Vista Youth Projects, Isla Vista Teen Center, Isla Vista Community Network, and the Optimist Club at UCSB, all longstanding organizations that provide a wide variety of services to children and families in Isla Vista.
The GIVE fall sale is sponsored by the Isla Vista/UCSB Liaison Office and UCSB Housing & Residential Services, in collaboration with Isla Vista After School Grant. Numerous UCSB student and community volunteers will staff the event.… [more]

COOL VINT RATTAN TIKI BAR

This lovely vintage rattan bar was completely professionally rebuilt and refinished about 6 months ago.
It has new shelves, a new base, inset adjustable/casters, a new hardwood cutting board with slides, new slides for utensil drawer, and a new towel bar.
The top has been redone with a gorgeous finish that brings out the lovely grain.
Built to last.
I haven't even used this for serving drinks once. It's only use has been to show off my vintage bar paraphernalia and store my barware. It's just as it was straight from the cabinetmaker.
It measures 60" long and 41-1/2" high without the feet.
