MENTOR OPPORTUNITY!!
The Fighting Back Mentor Program under the Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse is looking for a few good Mentors!
We are a preventative youth program aiming to match 4th to 8th grade at-risk kids with compassionate and giving members of the Santa Barbara Community. Our youth range from a variety of backgrounds, and are referred to us from schools all over Santa Barbara County. Many are just in need of one on one time with an adult who cares about their well-being and success in life.
Description: mentors meet with their mentees during the course of one year, for one hour/week during the students’ lunch hour on campus.
The growth and self-confidence that kids receive from mentorship is a vital part of their development. If you are interested in impacting the life of one of these kids through giving just an hour a week, please use the contact below.
